Presentation Guidelines

Oral presentations:

Presentations must be uploaded to the laptop in the speaker ready room prior to the beginning of your session.  Please note that we have two hotels, check for the location of the speaker ready room at the registration table.  These will then be transferred digitally or carried to the appropriate session.  Due to the tight schedule, we are not able to accommodate any speaker laptops If a talk is not uploaded in a timely manner, the Session Chair will have the option to replace it with a backup talk to ensure session continuity.

Only Power Point presentations (.ppt) and Adobe Acrobat files (.pdf) will be accepted, as the available software includes Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader. The presenter is responsible for knowing how to use the software for their file format.  We recommend a 4:3 aspect ratio for your powerpoint slides.

A computer, projector, laser pointer, slide advancer, and microphone will be available in each oral session room. Audio Visual Technicians will be available to provide technical support.

Time schedules for talks are as follows:

Poster Presentations:

Maximum Poster size is 4 ft high by 6ft wide (landscape orientation), please print out your poster and bring it to conference.  Posters can be posted in the morning or at lunch time prior to the start of the poster session.  These should be taken down once the poster session concludes.  Any left over posters will be taken down and not returned to the authors.

Please note that in order to give your presentation, you, or one of your co-authors, must be a registered conference attendee.  The poster presenter is expected to remain at the poster during the entire time allotted to the poster session. Each poster has been assigned a number and the poster must be mounted on the appropriately numbered board. (You can check the number by referring to the pdf or on-line program on the conference website.)
