Accommodations

For accommodations for the AMEREM 2018 Conference, three facilities have been reserved, two on campus and one nearby.  A map is provided to indicate the locations of the on-campus housing.  The conference will be located in the University Center Corwin Pavilion to the North and East of the UCSB Lagoon.

The Manzanita Village Residence Hall, UCSB

This facility is a university residence hall within walking distance of the University Center Corwin Pavilion (see the campus map below). The rooms sleep 2 individuals, each in a single bed. You can request a single room (1 person) or share a double room (2 people). The restrooms are across the hall. The booking rates include meals, and the details can be downloaded here. The booking is accomplished on the conference registration page.

The Club and Guest House, UCSB

This facility is a boutique hotel within walking distance of the University Center Corwin Pavilion (see the campus map below). The rate for this facility is $199 inclusive of taxes and fees. The Hilton Garden Inn, 6878 Hollister Ave., Goleta, CA

This new hotel is located within 3 miles of the Corwin Pavilion and has guaranteed rates of $229/night plus tax. Booking a room can be done through their website which can be accessed by clicking these words.

In addition, there are other hotels in Goleta and in the City of Santa Barbara (which is approximately 10 miles away). You will need to book reservations directly with those hotels.
