Overview of the ICOPS/Beams 2014 Meeting
The 41st IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS) and the 20th International Conference on High-Power Particle Beams (Beams) was held jointly in Washington DC on May 25 - 29, 2014, at the Marriott Wardman Park. We thank all of the attendees for an excellent technical exchange and encourage you all to submit a manuscript to the ICOPS Beams 2014 Proceedings (1 August 2014 deadline).

This joint meeting covered a range of scientific material, in the fields of both plasma science and high-power particle beams. With almost 600 attendees, over 36 countries were represented with US participation at about 50%, making this also a very successful international technical forum. In addition to the material traditionally covered in the ICOPS and Beams conferences, two very successful mini-courses were offered on the topics of Low Temperature Atmospheric Pressure Plasmas and Atomic and Radiation Physics.
The organizing committee as well as the IEEE NPSS thank you and your companions for attending this valuable technical experience while spending time visiting the capitol city of the United States.
