Topic Areas
The technical areas of interest for AMEREM 2018 are High-power Electromagnetics (HPEM), which includes nuclear electromagnetic pulse, and other transient EM environments including lightning, power system transients and medical applications. In addition to the different types of environments, we consider the sources, the coupling, numerical modeling, measurements, and protection. In addition to HPEM, we consider Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) as two separate categories. Authors will be asked to select the one TC that best fits their paper from the list of technical committees presented below .
In addition, we have one special session identified thus far (also listed below) and are interested to receive proposals for new special sessions by the deadline date of 19 February 2018. Proposals indicating the title of the special session and a short description of the topic should be sent to the Conference Chairman.
